Imperfect Pitch - 48 ideas for a pop song is a site specific video made for the exhibition Public Announcements curated by The Museum of Contemporary Art in Roskilde for Roskilde Festival 2023.
The film is a hesitant manifesto for a new, alternative pop song in a world that’s changing. In the course of six minutes a series of different realistic and unrealistic ideas for pop songs are listed: a pop song about starting at the bottom and staying there, a pop song that unpacks your relationship to your parents or a pop song for ants.
